3 epic unannounced matches that might happen before Wrestlemania 35

We have not seen the last of Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch

With less than 60 days to go for Wrestlemania, WWE has set its focus on the two marquee matches that will happen at the event - one is the RAW Women's championship match, and the other is the Universal championship match. While Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar will face off in the latter, the challengers for the former is not yet finalized. Charlotte Flair replaced fan favourite Becky Lynch after Vince Mcmahon suspended the Irish Lass kicker. However, we cannot discount Becky out of the title picture.

Before each year's Wrestlemania, WWE mostly gives us some epic encounters with serious ramifications. Be it John Cena vs. CM Punk in 2013, or Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles in 2017, WWE mostly delivers during the pre-Wrestlemania season. This year will not be any different, and in this list, we will take a look at a few of the potential epic clashes that might happen before Wrestlemania 35.

#3. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch - Winner will face Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 35 for the RAW Women's Championship

In a controversial announcement, Vince McMahon replaced the 2019 Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch from her championship match against Ronda Rousey with Charlotte Flair. Now, WWE has agitated a lot of WWE fans since Becky was a huge fan favorite and Charlotte has been getting relentless opportunities.

However, if anyone can recall, the last time Charlotte won a title was to have Becky turn heel on her. That heel turn propelled The Man onto the popularity she possesses today. Thus having an ultimate confrontation between the two former best friends, with Becky going over Charlotte will propel Lynch to a whole new level of stardom. Thus, possibly at Fastlane, Charlotte will face Becky with a Wrestlemania opportunity on the line.

#2. Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley - Intercontinental Championship match

A conclusive match between Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley will happen soon.

After the 2018 edition of Summerslam concluded, the Intercontinental title abated back to irrelevance as Seth Rollins took on the responsibility as a Shield member. On most PPVs, the IC title was not even defended regularly. The only glimpse of relevance was when Dean Ambrose challenged Rollins for the title, but soon enough, it faded back to irrelevancy.

Now, the IC Champion Bobby Lashley is scheduled for a 2-on-1 handicap match against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber 2019 with his hype man Lio Rush on his corner. It is plain obvious that this handicap match stipulation is just in place to prolong this feud even further.

Thus, possibly at Fastlane, we would see fully fledged singles match between Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley, to put their feud to an end for good.

#1. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio - Winner will face Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 35 for the WWE Championship

All the top stars of Smackdown LIVE may face off in a fatal 4-way match to punch their ticket to Wrestlemania 35.
All the top stars of Smackdown LIVE may face off in a fatal 4-way match to punch their ticket to Wrestlemania 35.

If someone had to name the five biggest male superstars from Smackdown LIVE, they would say, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, and Samoa Joe without the blink of an eye. Since Seth Rollins won the men's Royal Rumble match and chose the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, we don't know who will face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 35. Thus, we need a proper contender for the match and what better way to decide it than having the top four superstars from Smackdown LIVE go at each other for the opportunity.

Since all four men involved are brilliant workers and talkers, there is just no reason to doubt the potential of this match. This is, of course, assuming Bryan holds on to his title at the Elimination Chamber, as is widely expected.
