2. The Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan was the first ever singles match in the history of Survivor Series

As mentioned before, the concept of Survivor Series was originally based on multi-man tag-matches (often elimination-style matches), with four or five superstars representing a team.

With that said, it does make sense for majority of Survivor Series matches to be multi-man matches, but did you know that the very first singles (televised) match in Survivor Series history was between The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series 1991 for the WWE Championship?

However, it must be noted that a couple of singles matches did take place at Survivor Series prior to the aforementioned match between the Undertaker and Hulk Hogan, none of these was televised and hence weren't given much importance, which is why Undertaker Vs Hulk Hogan is officially regarded as the first televised singles match in Survivor Series history.

Given that professional wrestling has long been known for one-on-one matches, this comes as a surprise to many fans
