Whilst it should be noted that Gail Kim retired from professional wrestling back in 2019, this hasn't stopped many former female wrestlers to return to the ring. Both Trish Stratus and Lita retired in 2006 whilst Michelle McCool walked away from the company in 2011 before starting a family, but all three women have since been able to return to WWE and be part of several matches.
Gail Kim is a former Women's Champion and someone who has defined women's wrestling in IMPACT for a number of years. There's a reason that Kim is part of the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame but the former Champion still holds a grudge when it comes to WWE.
Kim walked out of the company in the middle of a Women's Battle Royal back in 2011 and hasn't returned to the company since. She has made it clear on social media that despite the current Women's Revolution she would only make her return to be part of IMPACT Wrestling if the company ever made the call.
