#2 Drew McIntyre is set for a big push in the new year
With the arrival of a new year, WWE will be hoping to build some new stars, pushing underused Superstars in the main event scene. Having said that, Drew McIntyre could be one of those names to get a big push in the new year. Although the Scottish Psychopath is not involved in a major feud now, he is gradually building up momentum to reach the top of the ladder.

Last week, McIntyre announced that 2020 would be his year, decimating Zack Ryder. The Scottish Psychopath continued his domination this week when he faced both Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, a former RAW Tag Team Champions, in a 2-on-1 Handicap match. McIntyre didn't toil hard to win the match, finishing the year on a high note.
Brock Lesnar will be in the house for the first RAW of the new year next week, and it will be interesting to see, who steps up to challenge the reigning WWE Champion. Given McIntyre's recent performances, WWE certainly has big plans for him, and hence, it will not be surprising if he comes out to challenge Lesnar for the WWE Championship match at Royal Rumble.
