#2 How to kill three birds with one stone

Last night, The Usos faced Sheamus and Cesaro, The Bar, so as to earn a title opportunity.

However, Jimmy and Jey Uso failed to accomplish their task because of Mandy Rose, who distracted Jimmy Uso towards the end. The Bar emerged victorious as a result.

Nevertheless, the Naomi-Mandy subplot keeps associating itself with The Usos, and indirectly, whatever match they are involved in. In this way, WWE covered two sub-feuds by saving time, as Naomi would later confront Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville backstage.

But that is not the only feud that was covered in such a short span of time. The Miz came out shortly after The Bar's victory and asked them for a title shot at the Royal Rumble. However, The Miz was put down by a Brogue Kick, even if he did manage to secure a spot for himself and Shane McMahon at the Rumble.

Thus, WWE killed three birds (or storylines) with one stone on last night's show.
