#1: The 24/7 Title segments balance out Shane McMahon's overexposure each week
The Miz and Shane McMahon got involved in a pointless angle together, just like last week's SmackDown Live episode.
It seems like the creative team has not found new ways to integrate the direction of this feud with its segments yet. Because even though we now have three babyfaces involved in this saga (Roman Reigns, The Undertaker and The Miz), it still feels like the writers are re-establishing the same plot points each and every week.
The Miz has already failed to overcome Shane McMahon's clique countless times, but we still witnessed the same thing all over again this week as well.
Thankfully, R-Truth's 24/7 Title shenanigans encourage viewers to stick throughout the entire show. As mentioned for RAW, the 24/7 Championship segments (and R-Truth) are singlehandedly responsible for changing the format of both main roster shows.
So even though fans have to sit through numerous Shane McMahon-related segments during one single night, there is still a possibility of R-Truth crashing the show at any given time, and therefore, both of these angles balance out RAW and SmackDown Live each and every week.
