#1 WWE ran out of twists for Roman Reigns' current angle

After weeks of buildup, it looks like Rowan was the culprit who attacked Roman Reigns all along.

Rowan's outburst last night was perhaps some of the best work he has ever done in his WWE career so far. But when you look at it from a larger perspective, did we need to build so much suspense every week to see Rowan face Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions?

Did this angle hurt or build Buddy Murphy's potential as a popular star in the company?

There are lots of questions which don't have a definite answer, but the most obvious conclusion here is that WWE ran out of twist endings to throw at us at the end of SmackDown Live every week.

Sure, they put together a somewhat cohesive premise in the end, but that still doesn't explain why Rowan would go out of his way to almost murder Roman Reigns in the first place, that too, all by himself.

However, all of this does leave us with another pressing question: What happens to Daniel Bryan now?
