"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt defeated Seth Rollins in a grueling battle last night and became the new Universal Champion. As good as the match was, Wyatt's Universal Title victory gives people a solid reason to tune in to this week's Friday Night SmackDown.
Now that two major championships belong on the Blue brand (WWE Title, Universal Title), it will be interesting to see where that leaves Monday Night RAW in the meantime.
Since The Fiend is booked as a separate, terrifying entity from the Firefly Fun House version of Bray Wyatt, is it possible that the Universal Champion can appear on both shows as two distinct versions of himself? Maybe the Bray Wyatt brand as a whole will switch over to Monday nights, or perhaps things will remain as it is, who knows?
Whatever the case may be, it looks like people finally have a reason to tune in to WWE's weekly shows - Bray Wyatt's appearance on SmackDown might lead to a resolution when it comes to this title mess.
