WWE stunned their fans at Royal Rumble where Nia Jax entered the men's Royal Rumble match at number 30. Jax made a statement in the match as she eliminated Mustafa Ali before she attacked Rey Mysterio. However, Jax was eliminated after a superkick from Dolph Ziggler followed by Mysterio's 619 and Randy Orton's RKO. It was one of the most entertaining scenarios of at Chase Field, and it could be a sign of intergender matches in the future.

Subsequently, Nia Jax also involved in a physical altercation with Dean Ambrose when the latter was interrupted by Jax. A storyline is developing between Jax and Ambrose, as the two Superstars are scheduled to fight on 22nd February at a live show in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Hence, it will be interesting to see if the bout will take place on Raw.
