#2 John Cena

If WWE has an interesting story to say in this one and a half month leading to WrestleMania 35, then John Cena should probably drop his shooting schedule and come down to the ring for a match.

But the fact of the matter is, Cena seems to be a victim of poor timing to wrestle again anytime soon, and this isn't just because of his Hollywood projects but the very fact that someone like John Cena needs a good storyline to back his star status.

He isn't Randy Orton who can make things work for himself despite being in not so important matches. He is someone who needs to be pictured in either title matches or great clashes against already established superstars.

At a point like this when WWE has put Cena's name alongside The Rock for wrestlers who make sporadic appearances, this doesn't feel like the right time for John Cena to be at WrestleMania 35.

He can't be put into the title picture as both SmackDown and RAW seems pretty settled with the storyline that's been revolving around the titles. John Cena cannot be running a redemption arc against The Undertaker because it would be outrightly non-sensical.

Drew McIntyre has lost the dominance that he once carried after being repeatedly put into different stables. This WrestleMania can do without The People's Champ this year.
