At SummerSlam 2024, Roman Reigns returned to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania 40 and confronted Solo Sikoa. In a short yet brief appearance, the Original Tribal Chief delivered a Superman Punch, followed by a devastating Spear to Sikoa.
This beating by Reigns helped Cody Rhodes capitalize and beat Sikoa to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. While Reigns did not explain his actions, he is booked to appear on the next two episodes of SmackDown, where he might address his actions at SummerSlam.
Roman Reigns being booked to appear on two consecutive episodes of SmackDown also left many people hopeful they would see him compete at Bash in Berlin. In this article, we will look at three opponents Reigns could face at the PLE in Germany:
She started earning millions after WWE fired her - Check out the story!
#3. Roman Reigns could face Talla Tonga
At SummerSlam, Jacob Fatu delivered a diving splash to Cody Rhodes on the announcer's table. While the splash was successful, it also injured Fatu, who was unable to get up and save Solo Sikoa. While the extent of Fatu's injury remains unknown, Sikoa could replace him with Talla Tonga, aka Hikuleo, if it's serious.
If he does that, Sikoa could tell Roman Reigns that before they both fight in the ring, Reigns would have to walk past Hikuleo. Given Reigns would want to get to Sikoa, he would accept the fight, and this match could take place at Bash in Berlin.
#2. Jacob Fatu
If the injury suffered by Jacob Fatu was work to keep him away from Roman Reigns, then WWE could look to book a match between Reigns and Fatu at Bash in Berlin. On SmackDown, WWE could show an angle in which Reigns would challenge Sikoa in a one-on-one match at Bash in Berlin.
However, Fatu, being The Enforcer, could interrupt Reigns and tell him that reaching The Tribal Chief isn't easy, and if he aspires to do the same, then he would have to go through Fatu. Hearing these words, Reigns wouldn't have a choice but to meet Fatu in the middle of the ring.
#1. Solo Sikoa
When Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam, he had the choice of going after Solo Sikoa or Cody Rhodes. However, the fact he chose to go after Sikoa shows the animosity he has. After all, Sikoa took control of The Bloodline and attacked Reigns' closest people, like Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso.
Given Reigns and Sikoa have so much animosity against each other, instead of waiting, WWE could book the duo to settle their beef at the upcoming PLE Bash in Berlin. The crowd in Germany could be treated to a Tribal Combat match between the two superstars.
