Insane Vince McMahon ideas that got canceled - Watch Here!
#3. DIY vs. The Street Profits
DIY are the new WWE Tag Team Champions on SmackDown after their victory over Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
It was the first time that Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano became champions since their move to the main roster and the first one they won as a tag team since 2016 when they were part of NXT.
Fans expect them to defend their titles at SummerSlam 2024, with the Street Profits being the challengers. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins defeated Pretty Deadly, consisting of Elton Prince and Kit Wilson, and showed why they deserve a title shot.
This match could be made official this Friday on SmackDown, but fans should not rule out the possibility of Theory and Waller getting a rematch and making it a Triple Threat Match.
#2. Logan Paul vs. LA Knight
Logan Paul vs. LA Knight has been in the making for weeks now and it would be a major surprise should it not happen at SummerSlam 2024.
The Megastar wanted this title match to happen at Money in the Bank 2024, but the reigning United States Champion did not put his title on the line. Instead, Knight defeated him and Santos Escobar and competed in the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
However, the two are potentially set for a collision at The Biggest Party of the Summer, and General Manager Nick Aldis is expected to make it official as early as this Friday on SmackDown.
#1. Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa pinned Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline emerged victorious against The American Nightmare, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens in a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank 2024.
Sikoa is now expected to get a title shot and step up as the next challenger to Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship. This is expected to be the next chapter in the feud between Cody and The Bloodline, while fans expect KO and The Viper to come to the aid of The American Nightmare.
However, a person who could interfere and turn things around is none other than Roman Reigns. The Head of the Table has been on a hiatus since losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, but he is potentially set to return soon and target Sikoa after the latter replaced him as the new Tribal Chief.
