With TLC 2018 well past us at this point in time, here are a few moments that you might have missed from the 17th December 2018 edition of Monday Night RAW...

#3: Seth Rollins acknowledged criticisms regarding his TLC Match in a backstage interview

The Kingslayer accepted criticisms pertaining to his performance at WWE TLC 2018
The Kingslayer accepted criticisms pertaining to his performance at WWE TLC 2018

Seth Rollins ambushed Dean Ambrose in a well-laid trap during last night's RAW.

Later on, Rollins was part of a backstage interview. It seems as if WWE has been rolling on a recent trend of acknowledging criticisms on live television because here is what the former Intercontinental Champion had to say regarding his TLC match against Dean Ambrose:

"I heard that crowd last night. I heard every single thing they had to say, and that's on me, that is my responsibility. I've got to own that and move forward. Because this isn't just about my performance in the ring, this isn't just about losing championships, this is my life, this is what I love. This is everything that I've dedicated everything to..."

It was quite genuine on Seth Rollins' part to publicly assume responsibility when a match doesn't deliver according to expectations.

#2: What happens to Paige's job as SmackDown Live General Manager now that both brands are under McMahon control?

Will Paige's current position as SmackDown General Manager be affected because of Corbin's actions?
Will Paige's current position as SmackDown General Manager be affected because of Corbin's actions?

Last night, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H came out to the ring to reveal that the McMahon family will be taking over both brands, RAW and SmackDown Live so as to give the audiences what they truly deserve.

While Baron Corbin's reign as a corrupt authority figure might be over, there is one particular authority figure on SmackDown Live who might have to worry about her job too.

It is unclear as to whether or not Paige will be continuing her managerial duties on the blue brand. She did tweet out something after hearing the announcement on RAW, as posted below:

Will this turn out to be one of those situations where everyone has to bear the brunt of one person's mistakes? Only SmackDown Live can give us the answer...

#1: The ultimate irony behind RAW's big shakeup

Vince McMahon's huge announcement certainly had a lot of ironies embedded within
Vince McMahon's huge announcement certainly had a lot of ironies embedded within

By now, everyone knows that things are going to 'shake up' following Vince McMahon's announcement on RAW.

Fans will get to see new talent, better matchups and a more creative approach to the show itself, after all, RAW has managed to stay afloat by constantly evolving for 25 years, as Vince McMahon said, even if many aspects of the show remain the same since its inception (Irony number #1).

The McMahon family vowed to put an end to the authoritarian approach to RAW's decision-making. But for those who didn't notice, all members of the McMahon family are the biggest authoritarian figures in WWE itself! (Irony number #2)

By crossing a few boundaries and looking at this situation from a real-world perspective, the McMahon family announcing themselves as sole decision makers on both brands to make things great again is nothing but a fictional representation of a fact we have known since years: The McMahon's were and always will be the ones making decisions all along (behind the scenes), and general managers on the show, like Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and former Acting General Manager Baron Corbin are nothing but characters representing themselves as 'decision makers' in the kayfabe world of Professional Wrestling (Irony number #3).

Truthfully, the aftermath that is set to follow the big reveal of 'shaking things up' will be quite interesting to observe in the upcoming few weeks. It was quite clever on WWE's part to put all of the creative blame on Baron Corbin, a man that everyone now loves to hate...
