The much awaited and highly anticipated event post-WrestleMania 35, the Superstar Shake-up is in the rearview mirror now. And as expected, WWE did manage to surprise us on a few occasions, however, it was quite predictable for the most part.

While WWE did end up missing a few tricks (Braun Strowman not getting switched to SmackDown Live for instance), they deserve a lot of credit for getting most things right in the Superstar Shake-up.

One such move which drew a lot of attention was Roman Reigns getting switched to SmackDown Live. Well, to be honest, it was a brilliant move by WWE and they deserve a pat on the back, as there was not much left for Roman Reigns on the red brand.

Also, WWE could not have booked him as the top babyface of the company (the ultimate goal of Vince McMahon) as he was continuously under the shadow of the current Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. Furthermore, a feud with Rollins which seemed a lucrative idea might also have backfired big time on WWE.

However, the SmackDown roster will not only provide fresh and new faces for a few potential feuds, but WWE could also book Roman Reigns as the top babyface of the blue brand to replace Kofi as the WWE Champion once Roman gets high on momentum.

So, without further ado, we take a look at 3 potential feuds for Roman Reigns on the SmackDown roster.

#3 Roman Reigns vs Kofi Kingston

Well, after calling SmackDown Live his yard during the main event of SmackDown this week, the Big Dog went on to tweet that even though SmackDown Live was his new yard, the same old rules applied here.

While it was well received by the WWE fans, it did not go down too well with the current WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston. As a matter of fact, Kofi replied to Roman in his own unique way.

Thus, this could mean that a potential feud between the duo could very well be on the cards. However, to be honest, it is not the right time for it, as it might backfire on WWE.

Given there is not much of a momentum behind Roman, a potential feud with Kofi (now) may result in the crowd booing him once again. And I am afraid, Roman might be done for good.

#2 Roman Reigns vs a returning Bray Wyatt

The architect of Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, has been missing from WWE TV since he incurred injuries in a minor car crash last year. However, he is not only medically cleared to compete in the WWE ring, but WWE has been hyping a character change for Bray in the last couple of weeks. Thus, a potential return of Bray Wyatt is not that far.

On another note, while Roman Reigns did manage to get a major win against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35, there is not much momentum behind him (given he was out from WWE for a considerable amount of time). Thus, given Roman Reigns has minimal momentum, a solid and gripping feud with a returning Bray Waytt could do wonders for him.

It would not only draw a lot of eyeballs, but it could establish Roman Reigns as a legit babyface and put him crazy over among fans (if he is not already). WWE could then utilize that intensity and momentum to launch him in the main event scene against Kofi Kingston.

#1 Roman Reigns vs The Authority

Well, during the main event of SmackDown Live this week, Roman Reigns paid a surprise visit to not only announce his arrival on SmackDown Live but he laid waste to both Vince McMahon and Elias Samson.

Thus, a potential feud against the authority could very well be on the cards for Roman Reigns.

Vince could put Roman Reigns against difficult odds each week on SmackDown Live only for Roman Reigns to overcome them each time. It could turn out to be an interesting feud and may put Roman crazy over among fans if WWE books it right. Also, it could then eventually end in Roman Reigns earning a shot at the WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston.

This would not only add that missing intensity and momentum behind his back, but it would also establish Roman as a legit babyface, as history has shown us on numerous occasions how superstars have faired tremendously well as anti-authority figures.
