#1 War Raiders
Tag Team wrestling has boomed in recent years, particularly on the independent circuit. Promotions like; ROH have afforded excellent matches and teams. Notably, The Young Bucks, The Briscoes, and SoCal Uncensored. However, one particular tag team stood out.
That team was Hanson & Rowe, then known as War Machine. They garnered success everywhere, notably in; ROH, ICW, Rev Pro, NJPW, and Progress Wrestling. Their success has been extensive.
At NXT Takeover: New Orleans Hanson & Rowe debuted now known as; War Raiders. Since then War Raiders have been on a winning streak, defeating teams; The Mighty, and Heavy Machinery. Ultimately they dominance has been a refreshing necessity for NXT. However, they have also made an impact elsewhere. At NXT WarGames 2018 War Raiders will team with Pete Dunne and Ricochet, to battle Undisputed Era, in a wargames match.
On October 31st during an NXT show, War Raiders and Undisputed Era became embroiled in a showdown. Subsequently, Richochet and Pete Dunne would intervene to assist War Raiders, preventing their assault from Undisputed Era, (watch the video below).
With War Raiders involvement in WarGames, it sets up an excellent opportunity, War Raiders versus Undisputed Era, for the NXT Tag Team championship. What could we expect from NXT Takeover: WarGames?
