Will The Undertaker feature at WrestleMania 35?

Even though WWE legend The Undertaker doesn't currently have a match at this year's WrestleMania 35 event, there's certainly talk that he'll be a part of the show in one way or another.

In recent years, the quality of The Undertaker's WrestleMania matches have fallen off, but that doesn't mean that he's not one of the company's biggest attractions despite the fact that he's no longer close to being what he used to be.

If WWE is going to book a match for The Undertaker at next month's show, then they better make sure they get him in the ring with someone who is in their prime, and someone who knows how to get a great match out of literally anybody.

So, with that in mind, here are three huge names that are currently in their prime, and if motivated, can have a great match with anyone. So, let's get started!

#3 Dean Ambrose

Over the years, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose has gotten the reputation of being a lazy performer, however, when he's motivated, he can do some pretty incredible things.

Sure, as far as we know, Ambrose is set to leave WWE after WrestleMania 35, which means that he might not be all that motivated to put on a great show if he's booked on the Mania card. However, there could be one match that motivates him on the eve of his exit, which is a match against The Undertaker.

Since Ambrose will be leaving, it might make sense for The Undertaker to beat him before he heads off to All Elite Wrestling, if that is where he ends up going. Also, having one last great match in WWE with a legend would definitely boost the ex-Shield member's value as a free agent.

#2 Finn Balor

Ever since debuting the "Demon King" persona during his time in NXT, WWE fans have been clamoring to see a one on one match between the former Universal Champion and The Undertaker on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Of course, this match would have to feature Balor wearing the paint. Also, this is a match where, presumably, The Undertaker would have no issues with putting the now former Intercontinental Champion over at WWE's biggest show of the year.

If Undertaker does beat Balor while he's wearing the paint, it'll be the first time anyone has beaten the "Demon King" since the gimmick was debuted in NXT. In my opinion, having an undefeated streak like that be ended by someone who really wouldn't benefit from it in any way seems kind of pointless to me, so I'd only book this match if my plan was to put the ex-Bullet Club member over.

#1 Drew McIntyre

WWE clearly has big plans for Drew McIntyre, and one thing that would really shoot him up to the next level is a WrestleMania match, and a WrestleMania victory over the legendary "Deadman."

As of this writing, McIntyre doesn't have an announced opponent for WWE's biggest show of the year. Some are predicting that he'll end up in the ring against Roman Reigns, who also doesn't yet have an opponent for the show.

If McIntyre does end up facing Reigns, I'm almost certain that he's going to lose that match, which wouldn't do much for anyone. However, if he's in the ring with The Undertaker, he could take out a WWE legend at the biggest show of the year, which would shoot him right to the top if it's executed right.

There's also always a good chance that The Undertaker will retire after each year's WrestleMania, so in theory, if McIntyre wins and "The Phenom" decides to retire, then the former 3MB member will be known as the guy who retired the legendary Undertaker.
