#2. Why Edge should face Drew McIntyre: A perfect way to put over the WWE Champion

Since WrestleMania 36, the three biggest names that Drew McIntyre has beaten are Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Goldberg. WWE rarely invests in a star as heavily as this, and a perfect example is with The Fiend Bray Wyatt last year.

WWE built up Bray Wyatt and The Fiend character for months, only for him to get squashed clean by Goldberg in Saudi Arabia. Goldberg has a habit of coming in and taking the World Title from younger Superstars, but that wasn't the case this time.

It took Drew McIntyre two-and-a-half minutes to defeat the WWE Hall of Famer and former Universal Champion with a Claymore Kick. Since WWE keeps adding major names to Drew McIntyre's victim list, Edge could be added to that.

Defeating Edge at WrestleMania 37 would be another major feather in the cap of Drew McIntyre, whose star power would likely reach an all-time high.
