Will Brock Lesnar cash in on the blue brand?

Brock Lesnar is your new Mr. Money in the Bank! The Beast Incarnate shocked the WWE Universe when he entered the MITB ladder match, replacing an injured Sami Zayn. While the move took everyone by surprise, it shouldn't be a problem, as the mainstream attraction is a must have for the company.

The recent low ratings of the main roster show along with the upcoming WWE Super ShowDown on 7 June may have been the reasons why the company took this step.

These alone aren't the most pivotal reasons why Vince McMahon decided to swerve the WWE Universe with an unexpected outcome of the closing match. The company has been under hot water for a lot of reasons, especially the number of superstars asking for their release from the wrestling juggernaut.

In this article, I list the reasons why this move will help SmackDown, as the former Universal Champion could cash in on the current WWE Champion.

#3 Fox deal

It's no secret that the Fox deal is one of the most anticipated deals in the history of the business. The company faces tough competition from an up and coming AEW, and with the latter's first show happening this Saturday, Vinnie Mac will try to create compelling television.

Fox had already stated that they are interested in The Rowdy One or The Beast Incarnate being a part of the roster on the blue brand. With the former Raw Women's Champion out of action due to an injury, there is only one suitable replacement that can elevate the show when it airs on Fox, Brock Lesnar.

The box-office attraction will be able to create good revenue and ratings for the show and the companies, and that's all that matters at the end of the day for both business giants.

#2 Low ratings

The company needs to increase ratings, and the only way to do so is by putting in surprise elements

Vince McMahon has tried everything in his power to help the ratings for the second flagship show but to no avail. The ratings for the show hit an all-time low last week, and perhaps a surprise could bring it back to a good level.

It must be noted that when the company sprang some surprises, like the entry of Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, and other SmackDown superstars to Raw, the ratings jumped for the segment.

The company needs to increase ratings, and the only way to do so is by putting surprise elements into weekly shows. It would make fans look forward to the weekly shows with more interest.

However, the big question is if the current Mr. Money in the Bank will cash in today or some other evening.

The Humble Advocate and his client have run through competition on the red brand, and there isn't much to do there. The current Universal Champion and The Beast Incarnate have already fought each other on multiple occasions.

Mr. MITB hasn't been on SmackDown in a long time, and with The Land of Opportunity filled with some up and coming superstars, it would make sense if he moved to Tuesday nights.

He will be able to elevate careers, and with Mr. Heyman's promos, the stories will reach an unprecedented level. This is a win-win situation for the company, and the wrestlers as well as the WWE Universe who will have something worthwhile to look forward to every Tuesday night.

A fight between Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar or any other wrestler with silky skills like Andrade will be of value to the roster and their respective careers.

Do you think any other reason can come into play for this possible cash-in on SmackDown? Chime in.
