The Miz has been one of the WWE's best performers for the last 2 years

Few superstars have experienced a career renaissance like that of The Miz in recent years. The former WWE champion has gone from being a mid-card regular to one of the hottest stars on SmackDown in the space of just two years, and it's about time the WWE rewarded him for his efforts.

The Miz's second coming began back in 2016 when the WWE brought back the draft split, with The Miz quickly establishing himself as one of SmackDown's hottest acts.

A move to Raw in 2017 saw him lose of his momentum but a return to Tuesday nights to feud with a returning Daniel Bryan quickly re-established him as a star on the brand.

Any other superstar in these circumstances would have been given a title shot by now, but the WWE has appeared apprehensive when it comes to giving The Miz another run with the title belt.

The Miz has proved time and time again throughout 2018 that he is ready for a run with the top title, and while that opportunity may come at the expense of fan favourite, Daniel Bryan, that still doesn't change the fact that now is the right time for it to happen.

The Miz defeating Bryan at Super Show-Down, and then going on to either Crown Jewel or Survivor Series and defeating AJ Styles for the belt establishes him as the top heel in the WWE, which is exactly where he deserves to be at this stage in his carer.
