We're only a few moments away from the one of the first big four PPV's and rumors are floating around regarding the superstars who could return for the PPV and what could be the results of the matches.

Moreover, some interesting rumors came out this week suggesting, the likes of Ronda Rousey, The Hardy Boyz, and more could be thinking about leaving the WWE following WrestleMania 35.

That being said, here are the most prominent and surprising WWE rumors from this week we hope are true, some of them then we hope aren't.

Let's see how many of these you know about.

#5 Hope True - CM Punk at Royal Rumble 2019

If you had thought WWE was planning a big surprise for this Sunday then don't be upset as if CM Punk won't be there
If you had thought WWE was planning a big surprise for this Sunday then don't be upset as if CM Punk won't be there

Honestly, all of us know what went down the last time around when we saw CM Punk in WWE.

Though The Best in the World claims to be done with WWE and the world of pro-wrestling, according to the picture that has resurfaced online recently claims that CM Punk is in Phoenix, Arizona for the Royal Rumble

However, thanks to RingsideNews for confirming, the photo that's been doing rounds around the world is not the latest one, in fact, the city in the photo is Chicago and is an old one.

Therefore, if you had thought that WWE was planning a big surprise for this Sunday then don't be upset as if CM Punk won't be there, but it's rumored that WWE is really planning a big surprise for tonight.

Though, until now it's not disclosed as what it could be, it's better if we wait for it till the PPV rather than digging it now.

#4 Hope Not - Ronda Rousey done with WWE after WrestleMania 35

Rousey' match at WrestleMania 35 could be the last match we will see before Rousey takes a break from WWE
Rousey' match at WrestleMania 35 could be the last match we will see before Rousey takes a break from WWE

Earlier this week a surprising rumor broke out, Ronda Rousey is seriously thinking about leaving WWE following this year's WrestleMania as she wants to start a family soon.

Moreover, Rousey has also reacted to the rumor, saying that she is thinking of taking a break from WWE, not leaving it, no matter what she does in the future. However, if the rumor does come true then it's bad news for the fans as they won't be seeing a match between Four Horsewomen of WWE vs UFC anytime soon.

That being said, though Rousey has said that she won't be working full-time like she's doing now, it's doesn't rule out the possibility that we won't be seeing her working on a schedule of a part-timer. Therefore, Rousey' match at WrestleMania 35 could be the last match we will see before Rousey takes a break from WWE.

#3 Hope True - Roman Reigns to return soon

Roman Reigns' cousin The Rock yesterday revealed that the former Universal Champion is doing a movie with him
Roman Reigns' cousin The Rock yesterday revealed that the former Universal Champion is doing a movie with him

Roman Reigns dropped a huge bomb on WWE universe when he made the announcement of him battling Leukemia for the second time in his career. Since then the big dog is absent from WWE TV and his yard.

Though following this heartbreaking announcement of Reigns WWE hasn't disclosed any date as of when we could expect Reigns back in his yard, but according to the latest report, Reigns is very close to his in-ring return.

Although this is good news yet we can't expect to see Reigns this Sunday as it was rumored earlier this week.

That being said, Roman Reigns' cousin The Rock yesterday revealed that the former Universal Champion is doing a movie with him, Hobbs & Shaw, therefore it's a clear indication that Reigns is doing pretty well as if he won't then how could he be filming a movie.

#2 Hope True - Paige to return to in-ring action

If WWE fails to clear Paige in the next four years then we could possibly see her working somewhere else
If WWE fails to clear Paige in the next four years then we could possibly see her working somewhere else

Paige's in-ring career was cut short recently when she sustained a spine injury (similar to what Edge suffered years ago) a few months back at WWE Live Event.

Since then the former Divas champion was in the chair of SmackDown Live's General Manager, until recently when she was removed from her position following the takeover by McMahon Family.

Though, there is no certain date disclosed by Paige as of when she could potentially return to in-ring action, but according to her in a recent interview at Royal Rumble Axxess, Paige revealed that she could be up for an in-ring return in four years from now as this will be the time when her contract with WWE runs out.

Moreover, this is a clear indication of her leaving the WWE and continuing her in-ring work somewhere else such as newly found promotion AEW, where she would receive more creative freedom and more opportunities.

That being said, if WWE fails to clear Paige in the next four years then we could possibly see her working somewhere else, as what claims now. This could be similar to the situation what Bryan was claiming to do when he was the general manager for the blue brand.

#1 Hope Not - AJ Styles to not re-sign with WWE

AJ Styles made his surprising WWE debut at Royal Rumble 2016. Since then The Phenomenal One has been a workhorse for the company.

Although fans are expecting the 41-year-old man to be around with WWE for a few more years now according to the latest report, AJ Styles could be out of WWE following this year's WrestleMania.

As per PWInsider, Styles hasn't signed a contract extension with WWE, due to which it has led many people in believing that the two-time WWE Champion could potentially sign with the newly founded promotion AEW.

That being said, the reason for Styles not signing the contract extension is believed that Styles wants to work on a less crowded schedule, which the sides haven't agree on yet, but due to new options outside of WWE such as AEW, WWE might look forward to agreeing on Styles' negotiations.
