Kevin Owens lost his WWE Title match at Fastlane against the champion Daniel Bryan and Mustafa Ali, who was later added to this match to make it a triple threat. Ali also took the pinfall from Bryan, which means Owens could demand his title shot on SmackDown.
But, Bryan could possibly face Kingston at WrestleMania, so build-upd up to this feud will likely begin on SmackDown this week. This means WWE will not put Owens in the title picture any longer, in the meantime, Owens could reignite his feud with a returning Sami Zayn
Zayn has been rumored to return very soon for several months. He had injured both of his rotator cuffs back in June and has been recovering for six months. Recently, he was seen training in the Performance Center in Florida.
A feud between a babyface Owens and heel Zayn sounds really interesting, the fans have always loved their matches. Both of theses stars have competed all over the world, so a showdown at the grandest stage of them all, needs to happen.
#1 Vince McMahon orders Shane McMahon to assault Kofi Kingston
Well, Fastlane had to be the most disappointing pay-per-view for Kofi Kingston's entire career. Not only was he replaced from his WWE Title match a few weeks back, but he was again cheated by Vince McMahon at the event.
Vince had informed Kingston that the WWE Title match will be a triple threat, but later when Kingston entered in the ring his opponents turned out to be The Bar who defeated him in a 2-on-1 handicap match.
As noted, Kingston is highly expected to face Bryan for the WWE Title at the Show of Shows, so this storyline between Kingston and Vince is definitely leading to this match. But Vince could be helped by his son Shane McMahon who also is involved in a major storyline.
Shane McMahon turned heel and attacked The Miz after losing their SmackDown Tag Team Titles rematch against The Usos. With Vince and Shane both being heels, they can possibly work together in these storylines.
Vince can once again troll Kingston by giving him a WWE Title match in the main event of the night, only to be cheated again. Then Vince can order Shane to assault Kingston, this would give more heat to Shane and more sympathy to Kingston.
