WWE will be looking to pull off some huge suprises
WWE will be looking to pull off some huge suprises

The Money in the Bank pay-per-view is scheduled to take place this Sunday, the hype for the event is really high; the venue is the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

WWE has got all the storylines set for the event. Money in the Bank changes careers for the better, as we have seen over the years. But what happens after MITB - that still remains a mystery. Superstars like AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, and other highly-rated wrestlers will look to continue their story arcs and pick up waves of momentum to carry forward. The same can be said for NXT stand-outs.

Furthermore, AEW is about to make its debut and it could take the wrestling business to whole different level. Hence, Mr. McMahon will endeavor to improve the quality of wrestling matches and storylines. WWE might offer some unexpected shocks this Summer. Here are a few directions the company might take -

#3. Brock Lesnar reclaims the Universal Championship

As we all know, the highly-anticipated bout between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar did not disappoint. The Beast lost the title at The Grandest Stage Of Them All, but he will be looking to seek vengeance. SummerSlam would be a good time to have a rematch between the two.

The Architect, Seth Rollins, defeated Lesnar to claim the Universal Championship to start off WrestleMania 35. It was an entertaining match, and had some frenzied action. Nobody thought a star like Brock Lesnar would open the show, which provided an element of surprise as well. To top it all off, and to give the audience the pay-off to this arc, Rollins slew The Beast in what was a memorable WrestleMania moment.

However, Brock Lesnar is not done with the WWE, and will likely get a rematch for the Universal Championship in the near future, especially since Rollins used the low blow to win. WWE likes to give the fans some shocks and nothing would be more shocking than having Lesnar reclaim the title.

#2. Becky Lynch loses both her Titles

Will The Man be able to retain both her titles?
Will The Man be able to retain both her titles?

The Man Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the main event of WrestleMania 35. She has now got her next challenger in the form of Lacey Evans, who brutally attacked the champion on the RAW after WrestleMania. The feud has grown in the last month, and the fans are massively invested in this fight.

The Queen Charlotte Flair has earned a title shot after defeating Bayley, and will face Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women's Championship. As a matter of fact, Becky has an daunting task when she looks to defend both her titles at Money in the Bank.

It is quite unlikely for the majority of the fans to root for Lacey and Charlotte, but Vince McMahon loves to orchestrate swerves. Becky 'Two Belts' Lynch could end up with no championships after Money in the Bank.

#1. Roman Reigns turns Heel

Roman Reigns needs to be unleashed now.
Roman Reigns needs to be unleashed now.

The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, made his highly anticipated return to in-ring competition back in March, announcing that he was in remission after being diagnosed with Leukemia last year. Reigns received one of the biggest pops of his career upon his return, and it appeared that he would finally be accepted by the WWE Universe as a top babyface.

These sympathetic pops did not last very long, and it's about time Mr.McMahon realizes the fact that Roman Reigns needs to be a heel. When it happens, the fans will turn for sure, and the Boss knows this. Seth Rollins won't be turning heel anytime soon, so they might pull the trigger on the Big Dog.

A heel turn would be great for Reigns. Pandering to an audience that has repeatedly rejected him does not feel like a good approach for his character. This is a chance to give his popularity a surge, by having him explore the other side of the audience's reaction.
