Back in August 2016, when The Miz vented all of his frustrations out on Daniel Bryan, we were all supremely excited for a possible encounter between the two of them.

Unfortunately, Bryan was still injured at the time. Once he did get cleared earlier this year, the one match everybody wanted to see was him against The Miz.

Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.

The story was solid and strong, but their match at SummerSlam did not deliver to the lofty expectations it carried. A certain spark was not there. Their two-minute farce at Super Showdown put a huge downer on a feud that had disappointed.

With Daniel Bryan's return not setting the world on fire, his feud with The Miz died a slow and painful death. But now with Bryan turning bad, maybe we could get a different take on this match.

The Miz has been a babyface once in his WWE career when he was miscast as one between 2012 and 2013.

But after the stellar run he has been on since 2016, maybe it might be something WWE would like to revisit. Granted, it may not work but now is as good a time as any to pull the trigger on a Miz babyface turn.

It very well could happen, with the Awesome One being the catalyst for "Best In The World" Shane McMahon's heel turn.

He has been an extremely likeable figure outside the ring and is a great company man, so perhaps it is worth a shot. There certainly would be some potential in a face Miz vs heel Daniel Bryan story. It would be something different.
