The WWE has already aired Vignettes hinting at the return of one of the greatest underdogs ever. However, what remains to be seen is how the WWE decides to bring him back. Rey Mysterio is still in great shape as we have already seen in his brief appearance at Royal Rumble. As such, his return is much anticipated if not in the Summerslam as a huge surprise, possible in the aftermath.

Taking into account the news from various sources, Rey Mysterio has most probably signed a contract with WWE which begins on the August. Now this leaves room for speculation regarding his exact return date and how the WWE decides to use him. As such, given the magnitude of star power that Mysterio has, the WWE might consider bringing him back at Summerslam.
