Drew McIntyre has had an extraordinary run since his return to the WWE. McIntyre is definitely a suitable candidate to replace Roman Reigns. His first run was substandard in WWE but he won the Intercontinental title once and the team titles once. Afterwards, he became the member of 3MB which was a wrestling stable. Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater were also members of the 3MB.

McIntyre earned a good reputation in the independent circuit. He also wrestled in the TNA where he became the World Heavyweight Champion. Subsequently, an improved version of McIntyre returned in WWE for the second run and he won the NXT title. In his second main roster run, he already won the WWE Raw tag team titles with Dolph Ziggler.

McIntyre has the charisma and in-ring skill to become the face of the company. He provided some top-notch matches in NXT against Roderick Strong, Andrade Cien Almas, and Adam Cole. Additionally, he has a captivating look to become a top star.
