Will Cena make history in 2019?

John Cena is already a 16-time WWE World Champion. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time.

But Cena can make himself the greatest wrestler in the history of WWE if he somehow manages to get his hand on the WWE championship for the 17th time in his career.

Just a few hours ago, on the Christmas edition of Monday Night Raw, the boss Vince McMahon himself announced that John Cena will return to the ring very soon.

According to the chairman, Cena will be appearing on both the brands. But currently, WWE RAW seems to be stacked with future storylines for the WWE Universal championship. And having a big-time player on RAW for nothing will result in wasting his star power.

But on Smackdown live, the WWE title picture is about to get clear, as AJ styles vs Daniel Bryan rivalry will surely end at Royal Rumble 2019. With that, the spot for becoming No.1 contender for the WWE championship will be open.

As WWE promised to increase their ratings in 2019, by giving the audience big-time matches, their won't be a much better opportunity for the officials, than having John Cena directly land as the challenger for WWE championship.

Having Cena beat Daniel Bryan for WWE Championship in 2019, will benefit WWE in two ways. First, it will increase ratings and viewership of WWE for sure, plus this might to the last chance for WWE to utilize John Cena and make him a 17-time WWE Champion before he finally makes his move towards Hollywood as a full-time actor.
