Royal Rumble was the first PPV of the year, and it was an exhilarating show at Chase Field. The WWE Universe's excitement was sky-high as there were some mind-blogging matches on the card. There were some surprising entrants, and new champions were crowned in Pheonix.

All the titles were defended at Chase Field, and it was a 7-hour long show (if you include the pre-show). The men's Royal Rumble match closed the show which was won by Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch entered the women's Rumble match after a stirring match against the Empress of Tomorrow. Lynch lost the title match, but she won the women's Royal Rumble match.

The other title matches were action-packed, as some of the titles changed hands. Nakamura became a two-time US Champion after defeating Rusev. The Miz and Shane McMahon won the Smackdown Tag Team titles against The Bar. The WWE Champion Daniel Bryan pinned AJ Styles after Erick Rowan interfered in the match.

Brock Lesnar defeated Finn Balor in an intense battle. The Raw women's champion Ronda Rousey beat Sasha Banks, and Ronda was pushed to her limit. The Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy retained the title successfully in a fatal-4 way match.

The road to WrestleMania 35 started at Chase Field, and several storylines will develop for the Grandest Stage of Them All. Numerous superstars could benefit from Royal Rumble this year.

Here we discuss three superstars who could have the benefit after Royal Rumble.

#3 Sasha Banks could get back in the title picture

Sasha Banks had a great start of this year, as she got a title shot in the first PPV of the year. Banks was not in the title picture for a long time. She had a dismal last year when she was excluded from some PPVs. As a matter of fact, most of her matches were in the kick-off shows, and she did not have any notable feud last year.

Sasha Banks is one of the Four Horsewomen of WWE, and he has enormous talent. She is a former NXT Women's Champion who gave Match of the Year in 2015. Banks won the Raw women's champion four times, and she had a memorable rivalry with Charlotte Flair in 2016.

Sasha Banks lost her way in recent years. However, the former Raw women's champion made a statement at Chase Field where she went toe to toe with Ronda Rousey. Banks and Bayley are front-runners to win the women's tag team titles.

The first Women's Tag Team Champions will be crowned at Elimination Chamber next month. Afterwards, Banks could win the Raw women's title, and she might get a long title run, unlike her previous title reigns.

#2 Finn Balor could get a major push

Finn Balor stole the show against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble, and they had an extraordinary match. Balor failed to become a two-time Universal Champion, but Lesnar toiled hard to earn the victory. Lesnar will undoubtedly face the Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins, but Balor has become a force to reckon this year.

Balor had immense popularity when he was in NXT. He was the longest reigning NXT Champion, and he held title 292 days. He repeated same success after he made his main roster debut in 2016. Balor became the first ever Universal champion, but he had to relinquish the title due to an injury.

Subsequently, his impressive run halted when he returned from the injury. He was not in the title picture for over two years until he faced Lesnar at Royal Rumble. However, his fate can alter after the impressive performance at Chase Field, and he could be set for a massive push in the next few months.

He might switch to the blue brand, and he could get better opportunities in Smackdown Live which is called the land of opportunities.

#1 Becky Lynch could make history

Becky Lynch had a spectacular battle with Asuka, but she failed to reclaim the Smackdown Women's Title at Chase Field. The two top superstars of the women's division pushed each other to the limit, and the match was certainly entertaining.

However, Becky shocked the WWE Universe when she entered the women's Royal Rumble match, and she won the match by last eliminating Charlotte Flair.

Lynch became a crowd favourite after she turned heel last year. She grabbed the Smackdown Women's title at Hell in a Cell, and her title reign was remarkable. Lynch lost the title at TLC in a triple threat match.

Currently, Becky Lynch is part of the Smackdown Live, but she might challenge the Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Hence, Lynch might switch brand before WrestleMania 35.

The two women were supposed to face each other at Survivor Series, but Lynch was taken out of the match due to an injury. Becky Lynch already challenged the Smackdown women's champion Asuka at Royal Rumble, and she is not likely to challenge her again.

Lynch has attained gigantic popularity in recent months, and she could become the first woman to pin the Baddest Woman on the Planet. Lynch and Ronda could become first women to main-event Wrestlemania if they collide at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
