When it was rumored that Bobby Lashley was returning to WWE, everyone expected that Lashley would be pushed to the top. He could have had a dream match against Brock Lesnar, win the Universal Champion and become 'the guy' in WWE.
But none of that happened. Bobby claims 'he came back to dominate' but he hasn't been dominating. The only major win he had in his return was against Roman Reigns and that lead him nowhere.
That's why WWE needs to give Bobby Lashley the Intercontinental Championship. A good championship run could help revive his career. Lashley is a phenomenal athlete and his time away has helped improve his wrestling ability. And in order to win the title, he would have to win a dream match between him and Seth Rollins. Plus it looks like he has a young, energetic manager who can defend for himself in Lio Rush.
If Bobby Lashley can get a dominant run as IC champ, this could lead to bigger things for the Dominator.
