#2 Shouldn't win: A part-time Superstar
The Royal Rumble match has allowed for some of the most shocking returns in WWE history, with stars such as Booker T, Rob Van Dam and Big Daddy Cool, Diesel, all making returns during the epic 30-Superstar bout.
But whilst the fans may appreciate seeing these blasts from the past compete, it is a very different story when a part-time Superstar is given the win.
Look at Batista in 2014, who not only was a part-timer winning but also came at the expense of the fan's choice, Daniel Bryan.
With the company battling to regain viewers in recent months, it can seem tempting to have a nostalgic Superstar win, to get back some older viewers.
The WWE will need to fight this urge, in favor of today's product at the Rumble.
