3 surprises that could happen on WWE Monday Night Raw next week (25 February 2019)

Elimination Chamber was a fantastic show as some remarkable matches took place. Though some matches were ordinary at Toyota Center, it was an excellent show overall. Several titles were defended in Houston, and the Intercontinental title changed hands when Finn Balor defeated Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a handicap match.

Sasha Banks and Bayley grabbed the inaugural women's tag team title, but the US title and Universal title were not defended at Elimination Chamber.

The Raw after Elimination Chamber brought unforeseen surprises as four NXT Superstars made their debuts on the main roster. Braun Strowman also assaulted Paul Heyman, who is the advocate of the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, and the Hall of Famers of the year were announced - DX will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The next Raw is scheduled to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and it is expected to bring numerous surprises. Ric Flair's birthday will be celebrated on Raw next week. Moreover, Roman Reigns is set to make an appearance, and he will provide an update on his ongoing battle with leukemia.

Here we discuss three surprises that could occur on Raw next week (25 February 2019).

#3 Lacey Evans could have her first one-on-one match on the main roster

Lacey Evans was drafted into the main roster last year when she was one of 6 NXT Superstars to grab main roster call ups. However, it is not comprehensible what WWE wants to do with Lacey, as she comes out and returns a minute later. Her current gimmick is confusing for the WWE Universe, but the company could have big plans for her.

Lacey participated in the women's Royal Rumble where she entered at number one. Considering Lacey lasted 29:21 minutes in the women's Royal Rumble match, she definitely made a statement. As a matter of fact, she eliminated the IIconics before Charlotte Flair eliminated her.

Since her remarkable performance at Royal Rumble, she has not competed in the squared circle. She might make her in-ring debut on Raw this week, and it will be interesting to know her opponent.

Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss is searching for a new opponent and Lacey could be an ideal choice to face the former Raw and SmackDown women's champion. Bliss has not wrestled after the women's Royal Rumble match at Chasefield, and the two women could lock horns at Fastlane.

#2 Becky Lynch could spoil Ric Flair's birthday celebration

The WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair, is set to appear on Raw next week where he will celebrate his 70th birthday. Since Charlotte Flair is the daughter of the legendary wrestler, she should be present in the ring to cherish her father's birthday. Becky Lynch, who was replaced by Charlotte Flair for the Raw women's title match at WrestleMania 35, could crash the birthday celebration.

Ric Flair's last WWE appearance was on the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live when the former Evolution members reunited. However, WWE could use the birthday party to develop the storyline for the Raw women's championship match. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch could have an intense brawl if the latter interferes with the celebration party on Raw.

Becky Lynch attacked Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey at Elimination Chamber. Though Lynch was suspended for sixty days, her involvement in this feud suggests that WWE is pushing for a triple threat match at the Show of Shows.

With Fastlane less than three weeks away, the two former best friends could lock horns with a stipulation. Becky could be added to the Raw women's title match if she manages to pin Charlotte at Fastlane.

#1 The Shield could reunite to attack Brock Lesnar

The former Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is set to appear on Raw after four months, and he will address the status of his fight with leukemia.

Since Reigns will be in the house, WWE could be planning to unite the Shield for one night. Seth Rollins is set to challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, and there is no denying that an attack from Shield could make the rivalry more captivating for the Grandest Stage of Them All.

It is not clear if Brock Lesnar will appear on Raw next week. Lesnar's last appearance was on the Raw after Royal Rumble where he completely dismantled Seth Rollins after hitting six F-5s. Nevertheless, Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman has kept the rivalry interesting with his fierce promos every week.

Dean Ambrose seems to have cleared his differences with Seth Rollins and could help Rollins if Lesnar shows up on Raw in Atlanta. Reigns might be fighting leukemia, but he should be cleared to have an altercation if the Shield attacks Lesnar.

Moreover, the Big Dog shot a movie recently and his recent public appearances suggest that he is doing well. Considering Ambrose will leave WWE after WrestleMania 35, it could be the last Shield reunion in a long time.
