The Phenom

There is no denying that The Undertaker is one of the most recognized Superstars of Vince McMahon's company. The Phenom has huge mainstream popularity and he is well known to the casual fans. On the other hand, Goldberg is a titanic name but he can't match the global popularity of the Undertaker.

It is not the first time the seven-time World Champion featured in a Saudi Arabia show. The company held two shows in Saudi Arabia last year and the Phenom featured in both shows. The Undertaker faced Rusev at Greatest Royal Rumble, while he teamed up with Kane to take on DX at Crown Jewel.

Considering the WWE Universe in Saudi Arabia loves to see the Deadman, a victory was certain for him to please the fans. Judging by the appearances of the Phenom in all three shows of Saudi Arabia, he is expected to participate in future.

The wrestling world was different when WCW was a big competitor of WWE. There was a massive rivalry between WCW and WWE as we had a Monday Night War. The two leading promotions always tried to topple each other. The defunct promotion produced several gigantic names of Professional Wrestling.

It is no secret Goldberg attained his popularity in WCW. He was a huge star of the Atlanta based company. The WCW Champion made his WCW debut in 1997 and he held a famous unbeaten streak. On the other hand, The Undertaker has been a loyal worker of Vince McMahon's company. The Phenom has been in WWE for thirty years.

Though the war ended in 2001, the WWE guys still get upper hands over the WCW guys. Sting, who was the face of WCW, lost to Triple H in his debut WWE match at WrestleMania 31. Considering it was the first meeting of Undertaker and Goldberg, WWE wanted to show the dominance as Goldberg got pinned by the Phenom.

Will we see a rematch?
Will we see a rematch?

The mega clash garnered the attention of a large number of fans. It was the first clash of two legends and WWE will not hesitate to extend the rivalry. Although the match was announced a couple of weeks ago, the two men didn't show up until this week. Undertaker and Goldberg had the long-awaited face-off before heading to Super ShowDown.

Considering the hype of the match, we could see a rematch at Summerslam. The biggest show of the Summer is just two months away and the rematch could headline the show. Since their Super ShowDown bout had numerous botches, the two men could rectify it in a rematch.

Due to the age of the two Superstars, the match was slow in Suadi Arabia. Goldberg was busted open at the beginning of the match when he hit the post. The former Universal Champion also failed to deliver a proper Jackhammer, while Undertaker also botched the Tombstone Piledriver. Goldberg was pinned when The Phenom delivered a Chokeslam which seemed like an unusual finish.

Though the match was longer than a usual Goldberg match, the two men were certainly disappointed by their performances. Hence, we might see a better rematch at Summerslam and Goldberg will be aiming to take revenge.
