Eric Bischoff is the new Executive Director of SmackDown Live. While Paul Heyman is the new Executive Director of RAW, Bischoff has the same role on the blue brand. After the arrival of Bischoff, the expectations are high and he is expected to deliver.

Bischoff is one of the greatest personalities in the wrestling world. He is known for his tenure as the General Manager of RAW as he held the position three years. Although he never had a backstage role in WWE, he was the Executive Producer of TNA in 2010. SmackDown Live will move to FOX in October and Bischoff's addition is certainly a huge boost for the blue brand.

After the reintroduction of brand split in 2016, SmackDown Live achieved notable success as the quality of the product was praiseworthy. Unfortunately, it has been a downfall for the blue brand in the last couple of years.

SmackDown Live has a talented pool of Superstars who can be propelled well under the supervision of Bischoff. The former RAW General Manager certainly needs to fix some issues to make the product exciting for the fans.

Here we discuss three things Eric Bischoff should do to improve SmackDown Live.

#3 A big push for Ember Moon

Ember Moon

There is no denying that Ember Moon is one of the most talented Superstars of the Women's division. Moon switched brands at the Superstar Shake-Up this year. The former NXT Women's Champion had a subpar run on RAW but the anticipation was high after she moved to the Blue Brand. Since she moved to SmackDown Live, it has been an ordinary run for her.

Moon is currently having a feud with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Before moving to the main roster, she had an impressive run in NXT. Moon won the NXT Women's Championship once and she was probably the biggest rival of Asuka in the developmental brand.

Charlotte Flair and Bayley are two biggest names of SmackDown Women's roster. However, Moon is competent enough to reach the top of the ladder. The former NXT Women's Champion is dexterous in the squared circle and she can deliver exceptional matches every week. Eric Bischoff certainly knows the potential of Moon and he should make her a top name of the women's division.

#2 RAW Superstars shouldn't challenge for the titles of SmackDown Live

It shouldn't happen

After the introduction of the Wild Card Rule, eyebrows have been raised. Vince McMahon introduced the Wild Card Rule in May and it was certainly a desperate attempt to boost the ratings. According to the Wild Card Rule, four Superstars are allowed to appear on the other brand. However, the reality has been different. More than four Superstars appear on the other brand regularly.

The Wild Card Rule has also allowed a Superstar to challenge for the title of the other brand. Alexa Bliss, who is a RAW Superstar, challenged the SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley at Stomping Grounds. Moreover, Bliss will get a rematch at Extreme Rules. Samoa Joe, on the other hand, is challenging for the most coveted prize of the blue brand. Joe and Kofi Kingston are set to lock horns at Extreme Rules.

When a RAW Superstar challenges a champion of SmackDown Live, it certainly diminishes the existence of brand split. The Blue Brand has many talented Superstars and RAW Superstar doesn't need to challenge a SmackDown Live Champion. As the new Executive Director of SmackDown Live, Bischoff needs to fix this issue.

#1 Roman Reigns should appear regularly on SmackDown Live

The Big Dog
The Big Dog

Roman Reigns, who is undeniably the biggest acquisition of SmackDown Live, hasn't been a regular member of the blue brand. The Big Dog switched brands at the Superstar Shake-Up this year, and it was certainly delightful to see Reigns on SmackDown Live as AJ Styles moved to RAW to fill the shoes of Reigns.

Although Reigns is officially a member of SmackDown Live, his last appearance was five weeks ago. Ironically, the Big Dog has been a regular Wild Card entrant on RAW until this week. Reigns skipped both RAW and SmackDown Live the week.

Reigns' regular absence is certainly a big blow for SmackDown Live and Eric Bischoff needs to resolve this issue. Considering Reigns is the biggest full-time Superstar of the company, he needs to show up in his own brand regularly. SmackDown Live will move to FOX within a few months and it is certainly not a good sign.
