#2 Brock Lesnar will retain the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins

In a rematch from the opening match at this year’s WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins.

However, the dynamic is a bit different now, as Rollins has cooled off significantly since WrestleMania. While many fans still don’t like him, they aren’t as opposed to Lesnar retaining here than they were back in April.

Lesnar retaining here would be a good thing, as if he drops it here it would be another waste of the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Beast Incarnate won the belt back at Extreme Rules last month, so why have him win it just to drop it back to Rollins a month later?

If that is the plan, then they should have just kept the briefcase with Lesnar until the fall to cash in on Rollins or Kofi Kingston. Lesnar also typically has long title reigns so a one-month run would be out of character.

Another reason Lesnar retaining would be a good thing is that it can lead to a Rollins heel turn, which might be needed at this point.

As mentioned before, Rollins has cooled off a lot since WrestleMania, with WWE pushing his relationship with Becky Lynch on screen and trying to make him look cool.

Coming off his promo on RAW, a loss to Lesnar on Sunday can set Rollins up for a losing streak, which leads to him snapping and turning heel down the line.

As much as people may not like it, instead of a long, drawn-out match Lesnar should make quick work of Rollins to retain the Universal Championship, much like his match against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel last year, and move on to different challengers.

Rollins is built up enough that a loss, even in that fashion, wouldn't do him much damage and could add to his possible heel turn.
