Mysterio could face the wrath of The Fiend on the upcoming episode of RAW.

Rey Mysterio won the Fatal 5-way Elimination matchup last week on RAW to become the #1 contender for the Universal Championship.

While WWE has already announced that the highly anticipated matchup will be taking place on the upcoming episode of RAW, the result seems all but obvious.

With Seth Rollins scheduled to defend his title against Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell, Mysterio winning the title to replace him in the bout seems a very distant possibility. However, WWE could have The Fiend interfere in the matchup to take out the Lucha Legend.

On another note, given Mysterio's booking in the last few weeks, it seems WWE has not got any idea where it's headed with Rey. Furthermore, Mysterio is rumored to be headed to the Blue brand in the upcoming draft. Thus, WWE could have Bray Wyatt take out the Legend only to relaunch him afresh on the blue brand.
