Recently, Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 for the Universal Championship. He is now Raw's main Superstar and Vince is fond of him.
However, one time Rollins made a mistake of not following the script which made Vince furious. He was supposed to face Kofi Kingston in a match where Kingston would job to him. But, The Kingslayer wanted to do something more than getting a squash victory.
When the two faced each other, everything seemed okay. Both Superstars showed their strength and weakness, and in the end, Rollins came out on top. After finishing the match, he went backstage, thinking everything was fine until he saw Vince’s eyes. The Boss was furious at Rollins. This is what the new Universal Champion said about the incident:
“It was literally three minutes long probably, start to finish, bell to bell. I gave Kofi a little bit and made him look good and then beat him. I remember coming to the back and thinking, ‘OK, that was alright.’ Vince was furious about it, furious. He was like, ‘Get over here,’ and he was yelling at me. He was like, ‘If you’re gonna be my guy, that’s not what I want,’ and he shooed me out of Gorilla. I didn’t understand.
