Rousey vs McMahon was poorly built up

If you think that Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs the team of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H had an exciting and interesting build-up, you're lying to yourself.

The feud was made to start during Rousey's contract-signing where Angle inexplicably insulted Triple H and Stephanie, mentioning that the power couple only wanted to use Rousey for their own benefit.

It makes absolutely no sense for the General Manager of Monday Night Raw to behave in this manner, and what made even less sense is that during their second confrontation Kurt said that he had been lying.

Eventually, Rousey challenged Stephanie to a match at WrestleMania 34, and after receiving a punch from Triple H the week before, Angle announced that this would now be a tag-team match and that he would be partnering Rousey.

This was a poor build with absolutely no logical flow to it. The match felt rushed and lacks a solid background story.

This isn't the only match to suffer from a poor build. John Cena vs The Undertaker has also lacked any excitement, with the match still not having been made official as yet. This makes it difficult for fans to get very invested in the event, as the matches lack any significance or background.
