SmackDown has seen similar faces holding the top tiles in the brand for quite some time now. AJ Styles held the WWE Championship for over a year and recently lost it to Daniel Bryan who is a former champion.

Charlotte Flair has always been in contention for the top prize for the SmackDown women’s division and has held the title for some time. While Becky Lynch was the first SmackDown Women’s Champion, her winning the title again has been a breath of fresh air for the WWE Universe.

Becky is an extremely hardworking wrestler, which has won her the respect of fans all around the world. When he won the championship off Charlotte for the second time in her career, she got much praise from all corners of the WWE. Becky recently turned heel too to get in contention for the title and has worked her way up to become the best heel on the brand at the moment.

While she has given fair chances to the other women on the SmackDown roster to take the title away from her, she has declared herself ‘The Man’.

While that may come as a surprise to some, but Becky is definitely the leader of what she’s doing in the brand at the moment, and therefore she has been able to justify the title she’s given herself. Here we take a look at 3 points that prove that Becky Lynch has indeed become ‘The Man’ on the WWE since her championship win.

#3 Hardworking

There is little to no doubt that Becky Lynch is one of the hardest working wrestlers in the WWE. We have seen photos of her training numerous times with the likes of Sheamus and Cesaro, which proves that she wants to get to the top herself without any unnecessary pushes.

Becky Lynch has revealed in the past that she never wanted to become a wrestler and had never even thought about it. Yet here she is today as the Women’s Champion in her second reign working as the best wrestler on the blue brand today.

Nothing comes easy for anyone unless they get undeserved and unnecessary pushes from the company, and therefore Becky has shown time and time again that she is the better worker on SmackDown and deserves all the push and praise she is receiving at the moment.

She has fought them all and showed up week after week like any other top wrestler to ensure that she gets her fair share and is not forgotten by the WWE and the fans.

She’s worked extremely hard on her current gimmick, which has skyrocketed her value in the company and all credit goes to her and her alone. She has ensured that she becomes the baddest heel after being the biggest babyface for a long time.

#2 Fearless

Fear is something that isn’t in Becky Lynch’s books anymore. She has come out night after night to put her body on the line and performed all moves to pinpoint accuracy to ensure she doesn’t harm her opponents while even performing high-flying moves.

Becky is a fearless performer, who has shown that she is up for any challenge that may come her way. Her heel turn has shown her as the next big thing, and she has even taken on the Baddest Woman on the Planet Ronda Rousey in a war of words like Ronda is the smaller star.

Her invasion of Monday Night RAW before Survivor Series showed that she is up for anything that is thrown her way by the WWE, and she worked a brawl even through a broken nose and loss of blood. Becky didn’t even flinch after being punched in the nose by Nia Jax and stood tall with blood pouring out her nose like a truly fearless champion.

Becky has even gone on to battle the men of the WWE and had bouts with James Ellsworth where she has performed all her moves perfectly and has come out on top.

#1 Ready for a challenge

Since winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the second time at the Hell in a Cell 2018 pay-per-view against Charlotte Flair, Becky has not backed down from any challenge.

After winning the championship, she has already defended the title fifteen times at house shows and on SmackDown Live combined! Two of those defenses have come against Naomi, while the remaining have all been against her former best friend and the former champion Charlotte.

This proves that Becky wants to work hard to stay on top and never backs down from a challenge. Even now after breaking her nose and getting concussed, she wants to get medically cleared to fight Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series which will not happen, unfortunately.

She’s even gone forward to issue a challenge to the RAW Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins to prove that she is ‘The Man’ in the WWE.

Her work as a heel has done wonders for her, and unlike other heel champions who usually find ways to back out of a challenge or show up once in a while, Becky has come out night after night to prove that she is the best SmackDown has got and is indeed ‘The Man’.
