One of the most underused names of the RAW roster, Drew McIntyre shouldn't be a surprise on this list. The Scottish Psychopath was one of the biggest names at the start of 2019, yet he didn't manage to continue the momentum. With no major title win or feud, McIntyre had a substandard last year. He'll be aiming to change the scenario this year.

After an impressive 2018, McIntyre was anticipated to become the next big thing in the following year. While he dominated two members of The Shield in the early part of 2019, his momentum got derailed after losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35. The former Intercontinental Champion joined hands with Shane McMahon, but focused more on helping Shane than furthering his own career. Right around the time he was set for a big push, he ended up on the sidelines for a couple of months due to an injury.

McIntyre was rumored to be the original choice to win the King of the Ring Tournament. He ended up bowing out in the first round to Ricochet before taking time off.

There is no denying that McIntyre has all traits to become a top champion on either brand and hence, it might be the ideal time to push him. Whether performing in the ring, talking on the mic, or having a well-built physique of a top guy, McIntyre has everything. The fans will be hoping to see him as the WWE Champion this year.
