The most interesting similarity between Money In The Bank 2018 and Money In The Bank 2019 was that the challenger for the RAW Women's title was making her singles pay-per-view debut on the show.

Last year, it was Ronda Rousey who had just battled in a tag team match at WrestleMania before challenging for the RAW Women's Championship at Money In The Bank.

Similarly, in 2019, Lacey Evans made her singles pay-per-view debut in the RAW Women's title match against the champion, Becky Lynch.

On one hand, WWE is saying that they will no longer give away opportunities to superstars who have not done anything to get them, and on the other, they have handed two pay-per-view championship matches to newbies.

Though both Rousey and Evans were unsuccessful in winning the belt, we can expect another female superstar to emerge out of the blue in 2020 and battle for the RAW Women's Championship at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
