3 ways Batista can continue to get Triple H’s attention

Batista made a huge impact on Monday Night Raw and surprised everyone with his appearance.

As the stage was set to celebrate Ric Flair’s 70th birthday, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon made their way to the ring to close out the night, with the Raw roster lining the stage.

WWE veterans Shawn Michaels, Ricky Steamboat, Kurt Angle, and Sting made it to the ring next, before a video package celebrating The Nature Boy's iconic career was screened.

Following that, Triple H introduced Ric Flair but a backstage camera caught Batista heading into Flair's locker room. Batista dragged an unconscious body of the 16-time champion into the hallway and asked The Cerebral Assassin if he had his attention.

While WWE had teased tension between the two Superstars on SmackDown 1000, it made little sense to see Batista wanting to get Triple H’s attention rather than the other way around.

While we are sure that we’ll find out why Batista wanted to get Triple H’s attention sooner than later on Raw, we have come up with 3 ways Batista can continue to seek Triple H’s attention before making things clear.

#3 Attack Stephanie McMahon

For years, we have seen WWE use female stars to fuel the feuds between its male competitors.

Recently, we’ve seen Lana become part of many feuds involving Rusev. This has helped many storylines grow for the Superstar.

Similarly, WWE has used Stephanie McMahon in feuds involving Triple H numerous times. Since Stephanie is Triple H’s real-life spouse, the impact has been greater than those storylines involving on-screen couples.

Batista has made the initial impact by taking out Triple H’s idol and longtime friend Ric Flair. He can take the next step and involve Triple H’s wife in the feud which will surely steam things up, just like it did between him and Randy Orton some years ago.

While the reason behind Batista’s attack on Ric Flair is not very clear for now, an attack on Stephanie will surely make things clearer and help progress the feud at a much greater pace with WrestleMania on the horizon.

#2 Take out Seth Rollins

As the Royal Rumble 2019 winner, Seth Rollins is well on his way to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

The high profile match is receiving a great build up, and will definitely be one of the most exciting matches of the event.

Seth Rollins is a man Triple H is extremely proud of, and the wrestler’s rise began from Triple H’s brainchild NXT. Rollins has all the talent in the world and has been backed by The Game several times to become the biggest star of this generation.

As the build-up towards WrestleMania is in progress, Triple H could show his appreciation to Seth Rollins and how he has progressed over the years.

Right then, Batista could attack Rollins too, kayfabe injuring him and putting his WrestleMania bout in doubt, enraging Triple H in the process.

This will help both Batista and Triple H’s bout, while also establish Seth Rollins as a bigger underdog for his title shot at WrestleMania.

This could also result in a spin-off feud between Batista and Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns in the future.

#1 Invade NXT

Bringing NXT into the feud would bring a lot of viewership to the brand

There is nothing Triple H is more proud of nowadays than the brand he has built and made parallel to SmackDown Live and Raw.

NXT has become a fan-favorite over the years and has been churning out great wrestlers time and again.

The last thing Triple H would expect is for Batista to turn up at NXT and wreak absolute havoc.

Batista could invade and attack some of the biggest Superstars during a match, jeopardizing (in kayfabe) several matches billed for Takeover: New York, a WrestleMania weekend attraction.

This will surely infuriate the Cerebral Assasin who has worked hard day and night to work on his NXT roster and protect them.

Alternatively, Batista could also just attack Willian Regal, who has been the long-serving General Manager of the brand, instead of any active NXT Superstar to gain Triple H’s attention and get him to challenge Batista to one last match at WrestleMania 35.
