#2 Drew McIntyre faces Cedric Alexander

It should be awesome
It should be awesome

Drew McIntyre and Cedric Alexander have been tussling with each other. The Scottish Psychopath had a Tag Team Match at Extreme Rules where he teamed up with Shane McMahon to fight Roman Reigns and The Undertaker. One week after Extreme Rules, McIntyre faced the former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander. While it looked like an easy victory for McIntyre, it didn't happen. Surprisingly, Cedric pinned McIntyre and made a massive statement.

The former NXT Champion was furious after the shocking loss to Cedric Alexander, and he dismantled the latter at RAW Reunion. Furthermore, the two men also crossed paths in the past couple of weeks. Though they were set to lock horns on RAW this week, it didn't occur as the Guest Referee Kurt Angle was attacked by The Fiend.

McIntyre never got the chance to avenge the loss to Cedric Alexander but he might get the opportunity at SummerSlam. If the two men face each other in Toronto, it could turn out to be a stupendous match.

#1 McIntyre and Elias team up to challenge Big E and Xavier Woods

The New Day has been on a roll, as every member of the group holds a belt. While Kofi Kingston is the current WWE Champion, Big E and Xavier Woods are the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The New Day members won the twin belts at Extreme Rules when they dethroned Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan.

Although the SmackDown Tag Team Championship was defended at Extreme Rules, it is not scheduled to be on the line at SummerSlam, but we could see a twist. In all honesty, the Blue Brand doesn't have credible challengers. Heavy Machinery has not been on TV for weeks, while Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan are involved in a different storyline.

Drew McIntyre and Elias were scheduled to face Big E and Xavier Woods two weeks ago on the blue brand, however, the match was cancelled. The company might have scrapped the match to save it for the Biggest Party of the Summer. It will not be surprising if McIntyre and Elias team up to face the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions at the Scotiabank Arena.
