3 WrestleMania 35 matches WWE secretly told us about on the latest SmackDown LIVE (26 February 2019)

WrestleMania 35 season is going strong. We had a fantastic Royal Rumble 2019 and a brilliant Elimination Chamber 2019. Even the Fastlane PPV is shaping up to be a visual treat. So far, four matches have been declared for Fastlane 2019 - the marquee match being between Daniel Bryan and a returning Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship.

The Usos will put their SmackDown LIVE tag team Championship on the line against the team of Shane McMahon and The Miz. Asuka will put her SmackDown LIVE Women's Championship on the line against Mandy Rose, and the Boss N Hug connection will defend their women's tag team title for the first time against the team of Nia Jax and Tamina.

After Fastlane, we will have the biggest WWE show of the year - WrestleMania. So far only two matches have been confirmed - one for the Universal Championship between Brock Lesnar and the winner of the 2019 Men' Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins, and the other being the RAW Women's Championship between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.

However, on the recently concluded episode of SmackDown LIVE, WWE gave us a few hints on some of the matches that could happen at the Showcase of the Immortals this year. On this list, we take a look at those hints.

#3 The Usos vs The Hardy Boyz - SmackDown LIVE tag team championship

Out of the blue, WWE gave us the return of the Hardy Boyz. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy have united after a very long time.

Since this is WrestleMania season, and since they scored a decisive pinfall victory over one of the best tag teams on SmackDown LIVE - the Bar - it means the Hardy Boyz will be aiming to dethrone the Usos as the SmackDown LIVE tag team champions at WrestleMania 35.

#2 Randy Orton vs AJ Styles

This feud has been in the books for a very long time. Earlier rumors had it that AJ Styles would face Randy Orton in a WWE title match. However, due to some change in circumstances, WWE had to put the WWE title on Daniel Bryan. So Orton and Styles have to settle in for a non-title dream match.

It is shocking to know that Orton and Styles have only crossed paths once since the brand split back in the summer of 2016 - the number 1 contenders match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33.

Orton had won the Royal Rumble in 2017 but refused to battle Wyatt - forcing the authority to crown a new contender. AJ Styles earned the honors to challenge Wyatt, but Orton had a change of heart - forcing the administration to have a clash between the two to determine the challenger. Orton won that match.

However, this time, we may see a series of matches between the two - starting from WrestleMania 35.

#1 Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston - WWE Championship match

Kofi Kingston could get his one on one WWE title match at WrestleMania 35

The original main event for Fastlane 2019 was supposed to be between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston for the WWE title. However, on the latest episode of RAW, Vince McMahon appeared out of nowhere and announced that instead of Kofi, Kevin Owens would face Bryan for the WWE Championship.

The primary reason behind this move should be to push the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston to WrestleMania 35, with Kofi finally grabbing the gold in WWE. Kingston is an eleven year veteran in the company and has put his body through some enormous matches - but is yet to clinch a world title in WWE.

Since the WWE fans are behind Kofi Kingston, WWE would have finally realized that the coming WrestleMania would be the best opportunity to put the gold on Kofi Kingston.
