World Wrestling Entertainment has over the years, gifted us several outstanding matches and rivalries which one can cherish throughout their life. There have been several dream matches and marvellous performances which the fans could have never dreamt off. Wrestlers from various countries across the world, fought each other and made WWE the number one show in sports entertainment.

However, there were certain wrestlers, who despite being colleagues never faced each other in a single's competition. Had they faced each other, it would have been a spectacular contest. They would have ripped each other apart, and it would have been really entertaining for the entire WWE Universe.

Here are three such matches, which never happened.

#3 Eddie Guerrero and Undertaker

Eddie Guerrero was a former WWE wrestler and is perhaps the most beloved superstar of all time. He has held several Championship titles and has defeated some of the best wrestlers who has ever who stepped feet inside the ring. Guerrero was known for his special tactics of lying, cheating and stealing to win matches. His unique style of wrestling has made him immortal in the heart of the WWE Universe.

However, there is one wrestler whom Guerrero never faced in his career. It's none other than the 'Dead Man' Undertaker. Undertaker is one of the biggest superstars of all time in the pro-wrestling industry. A face-off between Undertaker and Guerrero would have been outstanding. These two wrestlers have zero haters, and thus WWE Universe would have had a tough time to pick their favourites in this match.

It's sad, that despite being in the WWE for a long time, they both were never made to compete against each other. It would have been a dream match for sure. Unfortunately, we will never get to witness this match ever.

#2 JBL and Kane

Both JBL and Kane are former WWE Champions. They have had some amazing matches and outstanding records in the WWE. While Kane had an unorthodox style of wrestling, JBL believed in using underhand tactics to win matches. The sad part about them is, despite competing in the WWE for so long, they were never made to compete against one another.

Both JBL and Kane were highly underrated, and, a match between these two superstars would have been an outstanding booking. WWE could have explored many possible story-lines to their rivalry. They could have sold arenas, and headlined several PPVs.

The only face-off which took place between these two wrestlers was a fatal four-way match also including John Cena and Batista for the number contender at the Great American Bash PPV for the World Heavyweight title. At present, this match seems a distant reality with meagre chances to occur.

#1 CM Punk and Chris Benoit

The match every WWE fans would have cherished forever

Both CM Punk and Chris Benoit are former World Heavyweight Champions in the WWE. They both had a lot of similarities. The WWE Universe loved their on-screen characters. They both had an anti-management kind of personality and never toed the company line.

This was a dream match which was scheduled to happen at the Vengeance PPV in 2007. CM Punk vs Chris Benoit for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. However, Benoit did not turn up for the match, and, Punk had to face John Morrison. A couple of days later, Benoit was found dead.

Had this match happened, it would have been a career-defining moment for both CM Punk and Chris Benoit. It could have been the biggest match in their career. Unfortunately, this match will never occur, and it will just be an unfulfilled desire of the entire WWE fraternity.
