John Morrison was a part of WWE as MNM and his work was lauded by the fans during those days. He moved out of WWE after his neck injury required some time to heal, and he wanted more time to think about his next move.
WWE had high hopes on him but he decided to move from the company in 2011 to the independent circuit.
He worked with some of the best names in the independent circuit before moving to Lucha Underground. His work was loved there, and then in 2017, he decided to move to Impact Wrestling where he is supposed to face Taiji Ishimori, Rich Swann, and Fenix in a four-way match at Slammiversary XVI on July 22 2018.
A match between him and Daniel Bryan would be a good decision for Impact Wrestling which has been on a downward spiral in the last few years.
