Soon after Wrestlemania 35, Sheamus got injured during a six-man tag team match and has been missing from TV ever since. Although there have been some reports that claimed he was cleared to return to action, it seems apparent that WWE didn't have any immediate plans for him, since he's doing a lot of YouTube videos but nothing inside the squared circle. Here we are, seven months after he got injured, and the Celtic Warrior has yet to come back.

It just might be a case of WWE feeling that their roster is overstacked with talent, especially young guys who need the spotlight after the draft. Therefore, his return has been delayed for a while. It could be a good idea to bring him back during the build-up to Survivor Series 2019.

He could re-unite The Bar with Cesaro, or he could go a singles run. Sheamus is 41 years old and with his body allegedly in pretty poor shape, he probably doesn't have much time left on the top, so it wouldn't be surprising if WWE pushed him hard one more time when he returns.

Ideally, we would see him placed in the Survivor Series men's team for SmackDown to kickstart his return.
