Brian James, also known as Road Dogg in WWE, left the company out of frustration because of Vince McMahon’s constant changes in storylines, as revealed by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He was working as SmackDown Live’s head writer but because of McMahon’s last minute changes on the brand’s content, Road Dogg called it quits.

But as per latest reports, he has started working full time in NXT as a writer because of Triple H. Both Superstars are good friends and it’s understandable why The Game offered him to work in the yellow brand. Otherwise, the D-O-Double G could have also joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as their backstage producer.
