Kurt Angle famously won an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken neck, before going on to join WWE and become one of the company's best-known stars.

Angle has had several struggles throughout his career and has been forced to live out the best of his issues in front of a live crowd. Luckily, Angle was able to turn his issues around and returned to WWE back in 2016 as a completely different person.

Angle and his first wife have two children together, whilst the star and his current wife have already welcomed three children of their own. The Wrestling Machine and his wife Giovanni Yonovic announced back in 2019 that they were adding to their happy family by adopting a son from Bulgaria.

Angle adopted 15-year-old Joseph after his wife had heard that children over the age of 10 don't get adopted, so the couple decided to look for an older child.

Angle recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet where he revealed that his son wants to be a WWE Superstar.

“Our adopted son Joseph wants to be [a WWE Superstar]. He’s a big WWE fan and wants me to get him a WWE tryout when he he gets older. I told him if he does good in school I’ll get him a tryout.”

Angle retired from WWE at WrestleMania 35 after being defeated by Baron Corbin.
