CM Punk lost to Lesnar in their only match
CM Punk lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 in 2013, while Brock Lesnar failed to defeat Triple H on the same night. Soon after, Paul Heyman turned on Punk. Punk had been showing shades of a babyface turn, and told Heyman to stop accompanying him in his matches. Later, Punk was attacked by Brock Lesnar, and the rivalry culminated in a No DQ match at SummerSlam 2013.
CM Punk and Brock Lesnar's outing at The Biggest Party of the Summer was dubbed "The Best vs The Beast". The match ended with Brock Lesnar picking up the win, after Heyman's interference. Punk was given an ovation by the fans for his incredible performance in the bout. He would leave WWE following his appearance in the 2014 Royal Rumble match, and hasn't returned to wrestling as a competitor, ever since. Brock Lesnar, on the other hand, went on to break The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak the next year, something CM Punk couldn't do in 2013.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
