Mark Henry was one of the most intimidating characters in all of professional wrestling. Unfortunately, his luck ran out every single time he faced John Cena in singles competition. The first time they wrestled in a singles match was on RAW, in 2008 where Cena picked up a win over Henry via submission.

It would be four long years before Cena would beat Henry again in a singles capacity. Soon after WrestleMania 29, John Cena defeated Henry again on RAW, this time via countout.

Weeks later, Henry delivered one of the greatest promos of all time, in which he fooled the WWE Universe and John Cena into believing that he was retiring. Unfortunately, this didn't result in a WWE title run, and Cena defeated him at Money in the Bank to retain his belt.
The next night on WWE RAW, John Cena and Henry met again in a dark match, with the champ retaining his title. Their rivalry finally came to an end, and they never wrestled a singles match again.
