John Cena is going to return next week. He too hasn’t fought a match in the past few months. His last televised match was against Elias and Kevin Owens at WWE Super Show-Down. Cena was scheduled to work at Crown Jewel, but later he refused.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cena will be busy from January 20, shooting his upcoming movie, and he may not fight at the Royal Rumble PPV. Without appearing at Royal Rumble, Cena will have no way to find the Road To WrestleMania.

However, this isn’t entirely true. Last year as well, Cena didn’t find “the Road to Wrestlemania” from Royal Rumble. It was at WrestleMania his match was confirmed and happened.

Ronda Rousey was also shooting her movie this year during the Royal Rumble, but still, she showed up at the end of the show. Cena doesn’t have to fight at the Royal Rumble, and he could still make it to WrestleMania.

Cena is a ticket-selling superstar, and it’s unlikely he will miss WrestleMania next year.
